GCS Worldwide – GCS Certification was founded in the late 1980s, specifically in 1986, with the goal of serving organizations seeking System Certification. Our focus is on validating the compliance and performance of Management Systems in organizations of various sizes and industries. With a strong presence in the USA and European countries, GCS is a recognized leader in technical competence and modern certification methods. GCS started its activities by inspecting and certifying packaging, petrochemicals, and transportation. However, as management system certifications grew, GCS leveraged the technical expertise and skills of its professionals to expand its portfolio, including certification processes for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 (now ISO 45001).

Operational Changes

Since 2014, we have undergone a restructuring with the addition of new standards to our portfolio, such as ISO 50001, ISO 19600, ISO 37001, ISO 39001, among others, aiming to expand our services and areas of operation.

Growth

GCS in Europe – In 2015, we began operations in Europe, with offices in Portugal and Spain, along with several regional representations managed by our USA headquarters.
In 2018, GCS became represented by the Guardian group, further expanding operations into Asia and Eastern Europe.
GCS in South America – In 2019, GCS entered South America, strategically establishing itself in Brazil, with the objective of strengthening the brand in this market.
